The COuch

I still can't figure out how to get more than one picture in a post. Here's the couch.

Albany, New York

I stayed in Albany, NY for the first time at the Hampton Inn. What a swanky hotel! It is definitely not like the Hampton Inn I stayed at long ago in Illinois. The room was bigger than my North Street apartment in Normal, IL, and everything was top notch. Two big, huge feather beds for just one me. And I had a living room area with a couch.

Albany was cool. It would have been nice to check it out when it wasn't raining, and with some friends. Definitely a city with big shoulders.

See Food

Went to the grocery store last night to pick up some party favors, and snapped a couple of pictures of the enormous seafood section at the grocery store. I'm amazed that I found Molson's in Hawai'i.

Cocunut bras and all that good stuff

Oh man, what an awesome couple of days in Hawai'i. My buddy has been nice enough to bring me around Oahu and we have done a ton in just a short while. I have hiked, swam in the ocean, swam in a fresh water falls, learn to boogie board, got barrelled over by ocean waves, eaten shrimp from a truck, saw I am Basketballman, and much, much more.

While I've only been here for two days and have just about one to go, I have had more adventures than I usually have in a month. There is just so much of an opportunity here on such a small and isolated piece of the Earth.

This whole place was just a great idea. Its great that this is part of my country, and that, if I can figure out how to pull it off, I could move here and have the island life full time.

We even picked avacados and limes fresh off of trees in the same yard. Imagine having you're own guacamole garden. It can happen. I can't wait.

Just make sure you're careful of the sun. It can be merciless.

Montreal is so French

I sorta knew that Quebec had its French speakers, but I had no idea that there was so much French so close to us in Vermont. It was also surprising that the Green Mountains disappear right after entering the Great White North. All and all it was a good trip.
